Leaky Truth

The Leaky Truth Workshops are a series of creative sessions aiming to promote the acceptance and open discussion of periods, menstruation and everything that comes with it. Initially funded by The Leap, and now popping up all over Bradford!

The project aims to promote period positivity for people of all genders and ages. Ellie is very passionate about ensuring that everyone who goes through menstruation has access to up-to-date and accurate information around their periods and period health. You might have heard the discussions on BCB radio!

These workshops cover a range of creative activities including learning how to sew reusable period products and wash bags, creative writing, and period arts and crafts. The Leaky Truth aims to empower participants, encouraging open conversation about periods, creatively distigmatising the topic, and debunking its many myths.
