Drunken Film Fest Bradford
Indie films in small venues across Bradford,
in partnership with BFFO
A sister festival to the DFFO is Oakland, US, BFFD saw a diverse range of indie films and comedy acts in small cafes, bars, and even projected onto climbing walls across Bradford.
Led by Jax Griffin (Festival Founder and Director), it exhibited films from across the globe, notably with powerful submissions from Palestine and Ukraine. Not one film was similar to another, with a broad range of cinema styles and animation methods, genres and messages.
Each viewing showed a different treasure trove of films in a new location. On our tour of venues, we visited The Brass Owl, 1 in 12 Club and The Record Café to name a few.
We also projected the films onto the Cow and Calf Rocks in Ilkley, along with radio headphones, so as not to disturb the local sheep!
